VaultScan privacy
VaultScan PDF is a local-first scanner. The app does not require an account and does not require a backend for core scanning, editing, OCR, storage, or export. Scans stay on the device until you choose to share them.

VaultScan is a paid, local-first utility. It has no account system, tracking SDK, advertising SDK, cloud sync service, or backend dependency for its core workflow.
Scans
Captured pages are processed and stored locally on the device. VaultScan does not upload scans to a backend for the core workflow.
OCR
Text recognition runs on device. Recognized text stays in the local library next to the page it was extracted from.
Network
The core scan, edit, OCR, library, and export workflow does not require an internet connection after install.
In-app purchases
Optional Pro purchases (Monthly, Annual, Lifetime) are handled by Apple through StoreKit. VaultScan does not store payment details.
Analytics and ads
VaultScan does not include tracking SDKs, advertising SDKs, account login, or backend sync.
