BendScout is built as a local-first paid utility. Its core conduit bend calculations, recent jobs, and sharing flow do not require an account, backend, analytics SDK, or network connection.

Short version

BendScout is a paid, local-first utility. It has no account system, tracking SDK, advertising SDK, cloud sync service, or backend dependency for its core workflow.

Calculations

Measurement inputs, bend choices, and calculation results are processed locally on the device.

Recent jobs

Saved recent calculations stay in local device storage unless you delete the app or iOS restores app data from backup.

Network

The core calculation workflow does not require internet access after install.

Analytics and ads

BendScout does not include tracking SDKs, advertising SDKs, account login, or backend sync.

Permissions

BendScout does not request camera, photo library, contacts, location, microphone, HealthKit, Bluetooth, or calendar permission.

Data sharing

The app does not sell, rent, or transfer personal data. Sharing a job summary is initiated by you through the iOS share sheet.
